The donation sum is allocated to specific Grocery Shops, with receipts in the name of recipients, who then collect the fresh foods they choose.

The receipts are then ‘cashed – in’ after goods are collected, or similar process.

The ‘Grocery Stores’ supply a range of natural foods of generally locally sourced vegetables, fruits and salads, olives, nuts, herbs etc and therefore gets very good value.

Many of the recipients travel on foot or public transport, but the shops can arrange a home delivery service for those who need.
